Our History

Zion Nursery & Primary School was founded on 5th September 2005 to raise a generation of total children kitted with unassailable academic training, impeccable moral upbringing, unmistaken social integration and unblemished inter-personal relationship.

Given its very clear and well-articulated purpose, vision and mission, Zion Nursery & Primary School has been experiencing geometric and phenomenal growth. Thus, the School has grown in leaps and bounds – from a 3-pupil, one-classroom School to a famous School with hundreds of pupils and several dozens dedicated, devoted, diligent and resourceful staffers.

In 2012, the college arm of the School – Zion Progressive College – was founded. Again, its unambiguous and clear-cut motto, vision, mission, core values and commitment to excellence have made Zion Progressive College the choice of parents who desire sound academic and moral training for their wards.

Since 2017, when Zion Progressive College was accredited to prepare and present candidates for the Senior School Certificate Examination by both WAEC and NECO, the story has been incredibly that of breath-taking success.
